For three decades, Benefit Planning Services has built its business on providing continuous excellent service to business and individual clients. We take great pride in the fact that some of our clients have been with us since we first started in business.
Developing a long term relationship of trust with a client requires the time to understand the client's needs and bring those needs into focus, so that we can implement the appropriate solutions.
So our process starts with asking questions to determine your needs. Talk to us; you will find that we are great listeners.
Our process starts with an analysis of your current benefit plans. From there, we help you understand the options that are available to you. We can offer proposals that are both fully-insured and self-funded, depending on which is right for your organization.
Employee Benefit Planning & Design
Our specialists then go to work designing a solution for you. The result is a fully-customized plan designed to meet your benefit needs and budget.
We service everything we sell. We are available and happy to discuss or help with any claims problems or billing questions you may have. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST/EDT.
Section 125 Cafeteria Plans
The 125 section of the Internal Revenue Service Code allows employers to set up plans in which the employees can pay for various benefits using pre-tax dollars, resulting in savings for both the employee and employer. BPS provides implementation and administration of complete Cafeteria Plans, including the plan document, administration of the premium only, medical reimbursement accounts, dependent care spending accounts, debit card discrimination testing and preparation of Form 5500 for the Department of Labor (DOL).
BPS provides complete administration for all current and future COBRA participants including notifications, billing, and premium remittance.
Some companies choose to self-fund all or part of their employee benefits. Common benefits that lend themselves well to self-funding include Dental Insurance, Vision Care, Co-Pays, and Deductibles. Now your organization can take advantage of the money-saving advantages of self-funding without taking on an additional administrative burden. Let BPS process and pay self-funded claims for you. We provide reconciliation and monthly and annual reports.
